In the U.S. presidential election, Donald Trump has won North Carolina, according to Edison Research, moving him closer to the required 270 Electoral College votes. Trump has won 230 votes as of midnight ET on Wednesday, with the outcome uncertain in six other states. Trump has also reportedly won Georgia, leaving Kamala Harris with a narrow path to victory in the Rust Belt trio of Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
