đź’¨ Abstract
In the U.S. midterm elections, Republicans won control of the Senate with victories in West Virginia and Ohio, giving them at least a 51-49 majority. They also gained ground in the House, increasing their chances to dictate the agenda and help President Trump with his policies, particularly tax cuts and immigration restrictions.
