💨 Abstract
A fire at a ski resort hotel in Turkey's Bolu mountains claimed 76 lives and injured numerous individuals, with guests forced to jump from windows in a panic. The fire started around 3:30 a.m. on the restaurant floor of the 12-story Grand Kartal Hotel. President Tayyip Erdogan declared a day of national mourning. Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire and have detained nine people.
