💨 Abstract

In Istanbul, Turkiye, a deadly fire at a ski resort hotel resulted in 76 fatalities. The arrested individuals include the hotel owner, and six prosecutors have been assigned to investigate the incident originating in the hotel's restaurant area. Criticism towards the Turkish government arises due to the hotel's alleged faulty fire detection system, with witnesses stating no alarms went off. DNA testing is ongoing to identify the remaining victims.
