💨 Abstract

A 28-year-old Afghan man was arrested for a knife attack in Aschaffenburg, Germany, where two people, including a toddler, were killed and three others were wounded. The suspect, with a history of violence and under psychiatric treatment, deliberately attacked a kindergarten group in a park. The suspect had his asylum process closed but remained in Germany. No signs of radical Islamist tendencies were found during the initial search of his accommodation.
