UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos had a phone call discussing cooperation and potential development in various sectors, including economy, trade, and investment. Marcos appreciated UAE's support and praised its initiative to train Filipino police officers in child protection. He also acknowledged humanitarian aid given to Philippines flood victims and assistance provided to Filipinos in Lebanon.
