💨 Abstract

Britain appointed Michael Ellam, former media chief for Gordon Brown, to lead official discussions with the European Union and in international forums. The aim is to improve relations with the EU and establish closer ties in trade and security. Ellam currently chairs Public Sector Banking at HSBC.
