British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, along with the leaders of the US and France, expressed support for India's bid for a permanent seat on the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to make it more representative and responsive. Starmer, in his address at the UN General Assembly, called for reforms and proposed permanent representation for India, Africa, Brazil, Japan, and Germany, as well as more seats for elected members of the Security Council.
