A British teenager, Axel Rudakubana, has pleaded guilty to murdering three young girls at a Taylor Swift-themed dance event in July 2022, and to other charges including attempted murder, producing ricin, and possessing an al Qaeda training manual. The government has announced a public inquiry, following the nationwide rioting that ensued.
