Ukraine attacked a Russian oil depot in Engels, reportedly causing a fire at the "Kristal" depot which supplies the Engels-2 military airfield, home to Russia's strategic bomber fleet. Ukraine's military stated this would create logistical challenges for the Russian forces and reduce their capacity to bomb civilian targets in Ukraine.
