💨 Abstract
A man, Ryan Routh, was indicted for attempted assassination of political candidate Donald Trump after staking out his Florida golf course with a rifle. Routh was already facing two gun-related charges and has been ordered to remain in jail. The indictment, returned by a federal grand jury, carries a maximum sentence of life in prison. Evidence suggests Routh planned to kill Trump and spent a month near Trump's Florida residence.
