💨 Abstract
Hurricane Helene has caused devastation across the Southeast US, resulting in the death of 93 people in six states: South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, and Tennessee. The highest number of deaths has been reported in North Carolina (36) and South Carolina (25), including two firefighters in Saluda County. In Georgia, 17 deaths have been confirmed, two due to a tornado in Alamo.
