💨 Abstract
The United States imposed sanctions on Antal Rogan, a close aide to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, for alleged corruption. Rogan, who has run Orban's cabinet office since 2015 and oversees Hungary's secret services, is accused of using his role to secure financial benefits. Budapest has stated it will challenge the sanctions when President-elect Donald Trump takes office.
