đź’¨ Abstract
A U.S. judge has temporarily blocked the enforcement of a rule requiring employers to accommodate employees seeking abortions or certain fertility treatments, challenging a nationwide Catholic business association. The judge, Daniel Traynor, ruled that the new requirements violate religious freedom protections, and also barred the EEOC from taking action against the association’s members who refuse to use transgender employees' preferred pronouns or bathrooms.
