💨 Abstract
The National Funeral Service for former President Jimmy Carter was held at the Washington National Cathedral on Thursday. All living former presidents attended the service, including Joe Biden, Barack Obama, George Bush, Bill Clinton, and Donald Trump, who were seated alongside each other. After the service, Carter's body was transported back to his hometown of Plains, Georgia, for a private internment. Biden is scheduled to deliver a eulogy at the funeral service.
