The United States will reduce the low-value “de minimis” tariff on shipments from China, lowering it to 54% from 120% with a flat fee of $100 starting May 14, 2025. This move follows a truce in the U.S.-China trade war, where both sides agreed to unwind most tariffs imposed since April.
