The Ministry of External Affairs in India has dismissed a report by the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) on religious freedom in India, labeling it as "malicious" and biased. The MEA accused USCIRF of misrepresenting facts and peddling a motivated narrative about India, and urged them to focus on human rights issues in the US instead.
