💨 Abstract
At least 10 prisoners, detained during protests following Venezuela's July presidential election, have been released as per a local rights group, Foro Penal. Around 1,800 individuals were arrested after the disputed election in July, which kept President Nicolas Maduro in power. The election led to anti-government protests and accusations of crackdown on dissent by Maduro's administration. The number of released prisoners is expected to rise.
