💨 Abstract
Vietnam has protested to China over an alleged attack on a Vietnamese fishing boat in the contested South China Sea, which resulted in injuries to several fishermen. China's law enforcers reportedly beat the fishermen and confiscated their equipment in the Paracel Islands, a disputed chain of islands also claimed by Vietnam.
