The Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Council, the largest minority group in Bangladesh, reported 92 incidents of violence against religious and ethnic minorities and indigenous peoples in January and February 2025. The incidents included murders, rapes, temple attacks, and looting of homes and businesses. The group also reported 2,184 such attacks in the five months from August 2024 to December 2024.
