India has condemned attacks on the Hindu community in Chittagong, Bangladesh, where properties and business establishments were looted following incendiary social media posts targeting Hindu religious organizations. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) urged the Bangladesh government to take action against extremist elements and ensure the safety of Hindus. The attacks reportedly occurred during a tense situation over a Facebook post criticising ISKCON.
