💨 Abstract
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov accused the West of trying to drive a wedge between India and China, particularly through the rebranding of the Asia-Pacific region to the Indo-Pacific. He criticized Western attempts to diminish the role of ASEAN, which unifies Southeast Asian nations, and promote confrontational blocs. Lavrov also stressed the need for a unified security arrangement in Eurasia, noting the lack of such a structure, unlike in Africa and Latin America.
