💨 Abstract
President Volodymyr Zelenskiy stated that Russian forces attempted to displace Ukrainian troops from positions in the Kursk border region but were unsuccessful. Ukrainian forces are holding their lines, and the advance into Kursk was aimed at distracting Russian troops from eastern Ukraine, where they have been making gains. Zelenskiy also acknowledged difficult conditions and harsh enemy actions in the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions, which are partly controlled by Russian forces.
