Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked the United States for supporting Ukraine and expressed confidence in the new American President's ability to end Putin's aggression, stating that peace cannot be achieved without first stopping the aggression. In his New Year greetings, Zelenskyy praised the resilience of the Ukrainian people and highlighted the nation's commitment to bringing its citizens home, with 189 Ukrainians recently freed from captivity.
