💨 Abstract

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has spoken to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, urging increased funding for Ukrainian weapons production and localised arms manufacturing. This comes as Canada prepares to assume the Group of Seven (G7) presidency. Zelenskyy also discussed strengthening sanctions against Russia, particularly targeting their propaganda networks and shadow fleet. He expressed gratitude for Canada's defence assistance, including the NASAMS air defence system.
