💨 Abstract
The article compares the impact of recent protests in Sri Lanka and Bangladesh on their respective relations with India. While the Sri Lankan protests were primarily economic, those in Bangladesh were more political. This led to different outcomes: an interim government in Bangladesh intending to reform its political system, compared to a government of traditional parties in Sri Lanka securing economic stabilization.
