💨 Abstract

A renowned snake rescuer, Nick Evans, was called to handle a snake sighting near the M19 highway in New Germany, KwaZulu-Natal. Upon arrival, he found a large 3.3-3.5 meter African rock python, which is rare in the area. After a dramatic rescue, assisted by his colleague, the python was released into a safe, undisclosed location.
