💨 Abstract

President Cyril Ramaphosa updated the National Assembly on South Africa's preparations to host the G20 Leaders’ Summit in Johannesburg in November under the theme “Solidarity, Equality, Sustainability." This marks the first time an African nation leads the forum. Around 87 of the 132 official meetings have taken place, focusing on pressing global issues. The country is championing multilateral trading system reforms and the international financial architecture.
