💨 Abstract
The Nigerian animated series "Iyanu" will debut on Showmax on 13 June, available across 44 African countries. The series, based on a graphic novel by Roye Okupe, features a teenager discovering her divine powers to save the ancient kingdom of Yorubaland. It draws from Nigerian culture, music, and mythology, with an all-African voice cast. "Iyanu" has already achieved significant success in the U.S.
