💨 Abstract
The Newcastle SPCA is investigating reports of a lion sighted in the Ingogo area outside Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal, after a video surfaced on social media. The SPCA is assembling a team to track and safely contain the animal if found. Residents are urged to stay calm, avoid approaching the lion, and report any sightings or suspicious activities. New developments suggest the sighting might be fake, but the investigation continues.
