💨 Abstract
From August 2025, South Africa will introduce new passport stamps at its borders to combat corruption and enhance security. The Border Management Authority (BMA) unveiled these high-security stamps in partnership with the Government Printing Works, aiming to prevent tampering and forgery. Alongside, the BMA reported significant interdictions of illegal immigrants and contraband in the first quarter, with a focus on improving border controls.
