💨 Abstract

Beyoncé's BeyGOOD Foundation donated $100,000 (about R1.75 million) to the Texas Southern University's Ocean of Soul Marching Band. The gift will support scholarships and boost recruitment, technological, and infrastructure upgrades. The band gained fame after performing with Beyoncé at the 2024 NFL Christmas Day game. Beyoncé’s support emphasizes the importance of investing in creative education and uplifting historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs).
