💨 Abstract

Gladiator II, directed by Ridley Scott, has received nine BAFTA nominations, but its lead actor, Paul Mescal, was omitted from the Leading Actor category. Despite delivering a praised performance, Mescal was also snubbed at the Golden Globes. However, Denzel Washington was nominated for Best Supporting Actor in the same film.
