💨 Abstract
John Davidson, who produced the film "I Swear" about his Tourette’s Syndrome journey, has spoken out about the fallout from his tics at the 2026 BAFTAs. He expressed shame and embarrassment over his involuntary verbal tics, including the use of the N-word, which he directed at himself and others. Davidson apologized to those affected and criticized the BBC for not preventing the broadcast of his tics.
