💨 Abstract

Rayno Nel, a 30-year-old from Bloemfontein, made South African and African history by winning the 'World’s Strongest Man' title in Sacramento. Nel, a former rugby player, edged out the defending champion Tom Stoltman by 0.5 points in a thrilling final. This victory comes after a remarkable journey, including winning multiple local and continental strongman titles, and making his mark in the 2024 Strongman Champions League.
