Ex-UCT Vice-Chancellor Professor Mamokgethi Phakeng (Prof Phakeng) has pledged to give 50 tickets to local artist Makhadzi for her December show at Peter Mokaba Stadium in Limpopo, after lamenting slow sales. This follows Phakeng's purchase of expensive Chris Brown concert tickets, sparking controversy. Makhadzi expressed gratitude for the gesture.
