💨 Abstract

The Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO) responded to podcaster Gareth Cliff's criticism of the G20 Summit in Johannesburg. Despite predictions of a disastrous event due to the absence of the US, Mexico, and Argentina, 19 representatives attended. DIRCO's Deputy Director General, Clayson Monyela, shared an image of the attendees, mocking Cliff's remarks. The summit proceeded with discussions on international economic issues.
