💨 Abstract

In 2024, France was the top destination among South African travelers within the EU, with 30,304 visas out of South Africa's 193,768 Schengen visa applications. France received over 3 million visa applications globally, a 17-percent increase from 2023, and was the most desired destination for 32 countries, including South Africa. The leading five applications came from China, Algeria, and Morocco.
