Some fans of Mbabane Highlanders FC, renamed Mbabane Highlanders AM FC, are unhappy with the appointment of Shauwn Mkhize, former Royal AM CEO, as the club's president. MaMkhize, who has a controversial past with debt issues in South Africa, has called for unity and promised to restore the club to its former glory during her first address. While some fans support her, others have expressed concerns and rejection of her leadership.
