đź’¨ Abstract
Reusable sanitary pads offer a cost-effective, eco-friendly, and health-conscious alternative to conventional pads, which are often unaffordable for many South African women due to "period poverty." These reusable pads can last several years, reducing monthly expenses and environmental impact. However, despite their benefits, accessibility and pricing issues remain, with most pads available only online at varying costs.
