The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has condemned the illegal practice of selling queue positions at its offices, calling it exploitative and harmful to vulnerable beneficiaries like the elderly and disabled. SASSA CEO Themba Matlou warned that both the public and officials involved will face action. The agency is enhancing security and queue management systems, encouraging online services to reduce congestion, and remains committed to improving service delivery.
