đź’¨ Abstract
A U.S. court ordered Peet and Melany Viljoen to pay $3.9 million (approximately R71 million) to Tammy Taylor for unauthorized use of her brand. The court also banned them from using the Tammy Taylor name and branding, cancelling their U.S. trademark registration. Taylor sued in April 2024, seeking lost profits, but the court dismissed that portion.
