South Africa's prospects for hosting a Formula 1 Grand Prix have dimmed further. F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali hinted that Turkey might return to the calendar before South Africa, pushing any potential SA F1 GP to 2029 at the earliest. Additionally, Portugal's Portimao circuit and Madrid are set to join the calendar in 2027, overshadowing South Africa's bid.
