💨 Abstract
Senegal has dropped the $6 billion Akon City project reportedly due to delays and financial difficulties. The aim was to create a tech hub named “Wakanda.” The country is shifting focus towards a smaller, privately funded tourism project, valued at around $1.2 billion, including hotels, luxury apartments, and a marina.
