💨 Abstract

On Boxing Day 2024, a FlySafair flight from Durban to Cape Town was disrupted due to an intoxicated passenger causing a heated argument over alcohol service. The passenger, an SABC employee, was handcuffed and restrained mid-flight. The SABC and ANC issued statements condemning the passenger's behavior, with the ANC initiating an investigation into her membership status.
