💨 Abstract
The ANC has defended its decision to hold its 113th anniversary celebration at Mandela Park Stadium in Khayelitsha, despite claims by Cape Town mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis that it was done out of desperation due to a lack of availability in other venues. The ANC claims it chose the venue to reconnect with people and listen to community concerns following electoral decline in 2024.
