đź’¨ Abstract
The Department of Petroleum and Mineral Resources announced fuel price adjustments for June 2025. Effective from June 3, petrol prices are reduced by 5 cents per litre for both 93 and 95 grades, while diesel sees a 37-cent decrease. The oil price volatility and a weaker rand had previously led to an over-recovery, but an increased fuel levy offset this. The next fuel price changes will be announced for July 1.
