💨 Abstract
In June 2025, South African motorists may face a fuel price increase, despite recent decreases due to lower oil prices and a stronger rand. Projections from the Central Energy Fund suggest potential decreases of 19 cents per liter for petrol and 50 cents for diesel if market conditions remain stable, but this is uncertain. The final prices will be confirmed in early June, effective from June 3, 2025.
