DJ Sipho Mbatha, known as DJ Sgqemeza, addressed his departure from Ukhozi FM on March 31, 2026. He clarified that his contract was not renewed for the upcoming financial year, contrary to rumors that he chose to leave. Mbatha expressed concerns about the communication and process surrounding his exit, which he escalated to the SABC.
