💨 Abstract
The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) condemned U.S. sanctions on ICC judges, viewing it as an attack on judicial independence and international law. The sanctions, imposed on judges Gocha Lordkipanidze and Erdenebalsuren Damdin, are seen as a move to shield Israel from accountability for alleged war crimes in Gaza. The EFF criticized the U.S. for interfering with the ICC's work despite not being a signatory to the Rome Statute.
